Park and start at Juniper Campground’s parking (bathroom and water available).
The trail, a dirt road in fact, starts inside the campground.
The beginning is the less fun part of the loop. It’s a dirt road with steep slopes. After the particularly steep descent, right after the road splits, it gets a lot better.
Make a right to get on an actual trail and hike through the woods.
Take a moment to get to the summit, always nice.
Easy way down back to the parking.
